Can I use the freight exchange if I am not a carrier or freight forwarder?

Yes, e-cargoo is also available to manufacturers and trading companies. You can post loads of finished products and raw materials that need transporting, search for available vehicle space and contact carriers or freight forwarders directly.

What information should I prepare for a load listing?

Have the loading and unloading locations and planned times ready, along with the description, weight, dimensions and packaging type of the goods. For palletised goods, the number of pallets is also important. Specify any special requirements, such as refrigeration or special loading conditions, so that business partners can provide suitable quotes.

How can I receive quotes for transport?

Business partners can submit quotes for your published load listing through the platform. Quotes can include a price, currency, validity period and comment. You can review incoming quotes in the Quotes menu and clarify the details in the built-in Messenger.

Who do I agree the transport terms with?

You can agree the freight rate, payment terms, loading and unloading times, and cargo handling requirements directly with your chosen carrier or freight forwarder. You can also use e-cargoo's built-in Messenger for these discussions.

Can I also find a partner for regular domestic or international transport?

Yes. In Company Search, you can also find carriers and freight forwarders for long-term cooperation. Filter by routes served, vehicle types, company size and registered office location, then discuss the terms for regular transport directly with your selected companies.

How much does the e-cargoo freight exchange cost for manufacturers and trading companies?

You can find our current subscription fees in the Pricing menu. Choose a monthly, quarterly or annual subscription: longer subscription periods come with a lower monthly fee. Every plan allows you to register an unlimited number of users within your company. We have set our fees below those of our competitors to keep e-cargoo affordable for smaller companies and sole traders too.
